4th August 2012, NEWICK PARK HOTEL

NEWICK PARK HOTEL, East Sussex, a stunning, magnificent wedding venue provided the perfect setting for a casual and very natural themed wedding.

Combining soft blowsy country flowers such as "sweet williams', 'sweet peas', 'tanecetum' and lacey 'scabious' made a beautiful hand-tied bouquet.

And for the table decorations the bride chosen informal jam jars filled with a selection of seasonal country flowers. Gorgeous!

28th July 2012, Lindfield, East Sussex

28th July, Lindfield, a summers day and the colours chosen for a Moroccan themed wedding were vibrant oranges and pinks. The brides bouquet incorporated 'Mozart' calla lilies, cerise nerines and 'Miss Piggy' roses. A wonderful combination of colours! The bridesmaids bouquets included country dahlias in orange and a stunning garland cascaded the church door. Rich pink hydrangeas set off the garland beautifully with other mixed foliages and flowers.

Perfume launch, Newick Park Hotel

Monday 9th July 2012, a prestigious perfume company held an exhibition of their new perfume at Newick Park Hotel. I was asked to design some vases of flowers to compliment the fragrance. The colour scheme incorporated black, pink and gold. Peonies being a main ingredient in the fragrance were used as the focal flower. Together with black and gold twigs and the use of gold birch twigs and gold bullion wire to create 'thorns' as on the packaging, the creations came together. They looked magnificent and it is always a pleasure to use inspiration and creativity when taking on contract work.

7th July 2012, Wakehurst Place

7th July 2012, Wakehurst Place, nr Ardingly. A stunning building which belongs to the National Trust provides a wonderful venue for weddings.
The rich, dark panelling within the building was harmonised  with perfect complimenting colours of soft lilacs and purples. Lavender being the flower, scented and seasonal was chosen and rustic pots of fresh lavender wrapped in natural hessian filled the room with delightful fragrance.

The bridal bouquet combined the lavender with lilac/pink 'Memory Lane' roses, cream spray rose, rosemary herbs, veronica and lisianthus. A natural, seasonal bouquet fetching for a mid summers day.

The backdrop of the ceremony room was highlighted with two large topiary trees made with the most gorgeous purple hydrangeas, seasonal stocks and complimenting bridal flowers.

June 2012,
Funeral work made on behalf of a Mother who loved Copenhagen Pottery,

   and a beloved son.

9th June 2012, East Sussex

9th June 2012, East Sussex, the bride chose an elegant and classy combination of white and dark purple calla lilies. The bouquet was hand-tied and bound with ivory satin ribbon. Simple and stunning!

2nd June 2012, Hamsey Church

2nd June 2012, HAMSEY CHURCH, nr Lewes is an historic, ancient church with no electricity and candles for lights. Therefore warm, radiant colours of burnt orange, rich reds and deep burgundys were chosen to give a rustic amber glow to the bare walls of the church.
The bride had a traditonal but loose shower bouquet with trails of ivy and fern to deliver a soft, elegant feel to her bouquet.
