Wedding fair at Amex Stadium March 16th 2014

It was one of the warmest days of the year and a steady flow of future brides and grooms turned up to browse this fantastic wedding show.

I, Sara Greenwood of Rosehip Floral Art was located on the 3rd floor and displayed some beautiful examples of flowers, seen below. I absolutely adore Spring flowers, they are so innocent and the scent divine.

 Ranunculus is such a wonderful spring flower and comes in all shades and colours.

East Sussex National wedding fair

Sunday was spent exhibiting at the East Sussex National wedding fair.

The event was quite quiet, probably because of the predicted weather forecast, gale force winds and rain.

It was a pleasure to meet those that braved the weather and the power cut and show them examples of work.

Take a look at the gorgeous colours: Vuvuzella roses, Vendella roses, Sweet Avalanche roses, Astilbe, Scabious Stellata, Hypericum, berried eucalyptus, Gladioli and several more.

It's that time of year again when we are busy attending wedding fayres. Recently I held a wedding fayre at Laughton Barns, nr Ringmer on the bank holiday weekend in August and last weekend I exhibited at 'The Triangle' leisure centre in Burgess Hill.

Dates coming up: - Shortly I will be attending the East Sussex National Golf club, nr Uckfield, East Sussex. The Stylish event wedding fayre is to be held on the Sunday 27th October, 10.30am to 15.00pm. Please come along and say hello and take a look at examples of my work.

Last weekend I created flowers for a couple who were getting married at Hendall Barn, nr Uckfield. It's a stunning, rustic converted barn. The choice of heather in the brides bouquet and table jugs worked very well with the 'Memory Lane' roses.

Amongst creating beautiful wedding flowers this summer I have also been studying at Plumpton Agricultural college and I am proud to announce that I have recently passed and I have been awarded a Level 4 Higher Diploma in Floristry.

The qualification covers many aspects of trends used in designer floristry as well as learning about botanical processes, period floral decoration, event organising. business studies and marketing.
